Organisational Support Coordinator

Job description

About us

Greenpeace is an independent campaigning organisation, which uses creative confrontation to protect Earth’s ability to nurture life in all its diversity. We challenge the power of big polluters. We resist those who seek to trap us in old destructive stories. We breathe life into the new stories and ideas that will pave the way towards a green and peaceful future.

About you and the role

You are someone who knows that what happens behind the scenes is just as important as what happens in the public eye. You take pride in being well organised, and are a strong problem solver who enjoys thinking outside the square for solutions. You have experience managing sensitive information and maintaining confidentiality. You like a challenge and aren’t afraid to make decisions to help the office run smoother.

The Organisational Support Coordinator role is a diverse role which connects with all parts of Greenpeace Aotearoa. You’ll be the fourth person in our small but dynamic People & Culture team, and together we support the wider organisation. In this role you will have four areas of responsibility, supporting the Executive Director and Senior Management team, administration for the Greenpeace Board and Educational Trust, administrative support for the People & Culture team, and overseeing our building and facilities management.

This position is a full time role, based in Auckland.
