ABOUT THE ROLE 

Join our dynamic team as a Digital Marketing Leader for a 12-month fixed-term contract in the role of Digital Marketing Manager. This position is pivotal within our Fundraising team, where you will lead a group of experts to enhance income and engagement across various channels. Emphasizing growth, this role encourages a test-and-learn approach to digital initiatives while fostering innovation and best-practice digital marketing.

Key Responsibilities 

  • Leadership: Provide guidance to the Digital Marketing team, including effective line management of staff

  • Strategy Development: Spearhead the creation of impactful digital fundraising and marketing strategies aligned with overall fundraising objectives and income growth.

  • Digital Strategy: Play a lead role in crafting and implementing the organisation's comprehensive digital strategy.

  • Channel Management: Manage all digital marketing channels with a focus on optimisation, including oversight of CRO, Content, Lead Generation, and Supporter Journey projects.


ABOUT YOU

You are an accomplished digital marketing leader with a proven record of driving growth in digital income and audience engagement. Your expertise should span all facets of digital marketing, encompassing SEO & SEM. A passion for content marketing that weaves compelling stories through multi-channel campaigns is essential. As an adept leader, you should know how to maximize the potential of a team of digital experts and collaborate with key stakeholders across the organisation to meet fundraising objectives.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • Online Marketing/Fundraising: Proven track record achieving significant online fundraising goals.

  • Digital Platforms & Data Management: Proficient in utilizing digital marketing platforms with strong data management skills.

  • Digital & Supporter Journeys: Successfully implemented and optimized digital customer and supporter journeys.

  • CRO, eCommerce, & Management: Expert in Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO) and eCommerce strategies with over two years of digital management, overseeing acquisition and retention journeys, preferably in fundraising or advocacy.

  • Certifications: Certified or equivalent experience in Google Ads, Analytics, and Facebook Blueprint courses.

This is a 12 month contract to cover parental leave full time position (37.5hrs per week) based in Tāmaki Makaurau. The ideal start date is around the end of May - start of June 2024
